“Not only is Hawaii paying all expensesof travel, ground transportation, lodging, and meals, but they willsend us home with $125,000 guarantee,’ said Teague. “Additionally, theNCAA allows any program to play an extra game who plays Hawaii in thesame year as incentive to get schools to travel to the islands. We areusing this opportunity to play an additional home game so we are ableto garner further revenues through ticket sales. This extra revenuewill help our institution and program greatly.’
How many schools routinely go to this much trouble to find opponents? It's not like we're scheduling Michigan or Ohio State here -- it's Central Arkansas, for gosh-sakes ... wow ...
