Warriors' Starting QB Suffers Arm Injury

User Article   37 Views   By Laurie_Miller on Aug 22 2008, 9:36 am

The University of Hawaii's starting quarterback Brent Rausch is not practicing at 100 percent right now, with pain in his throwing arm.

The trouble seems to be his right forearm and where it bends. Coach Greg McMackin is confident he can play through the pain because it's not affecting his ability to perform.

The sophomore is still expected to start for Hawaii against Florida next Saturday. Should Rausch's condition prove to be a problem, Greg Alexander and Inoke Funaki are still getting a lot of reps at practice as his back-up.
